Something New: Audi Quattro Concept

Bananas....

To know Audi's Quattro Concept, you have to recall the original Audi Quattro (a.k.a."Ur-Quattro") from 1980. Launched 30 years ago, the two-door coupe was the first sports car to feature the automaker's new Quattro all-wheel-drive system. With a turbocharged 2.1-liter inline five-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission, the original 200-horsepower street variant was good for a 0-60 sprint of around seven seconds and a top speed of 137 mph. Rally-prepared, and with hundreds of additional horses under the hood, the Audi Quattro was unstoppable, dominating the Group B class in rally competitions around the world for years. Via AutoBlog

Food for Thought: Know Yourself....

Know Yourself!

I once was told this story about three wise-men who wanted to know what to do with the mind of man. So one day they were all sitting around and began pondering....

So the 1st wise man of the 3 wise-men said: "Put it in the sky!"
But then the other 2 wise-men said "no, no, no, no, no because if you put it in the sky then man will have airplanes and then man will have rockets and then man will have spaceships and he'll find it there.."

So then the 2nd wisest of the 3 wise-men said: "Well just put it in the ocean!"
But then the other 2 wise men of the wise-men said "no, no, no, no, no because if you put it in the ocean then man will then have submarines and then he'll find it there..."

SO then the wisest (3rd wise man) of the 3 of the wise-men said:  "Put it within his self, because he'll never think to look within himself"

So the moral to the story is: that's what wrong w/ people, they don't ever think to look within themselves!

The (Abridged) 48 Laws of Pimpin #tru2thagame

So tell how in the hell did I just now find out that Pimpin Ken wrote a book called Pimpology: The 48 Laws of Game, which I just stumbled into in the “Self-Help” section of Barnes & Noble (no lie). So I skimmed through it a little bit and read a couple of passages and it appears to be good book that you can apply to both the streets and the corporate boardroom, which in my case I know that the corporate boardroom money lasts longer but nonetheless I've decided to post all 48 Laws of the Game but only the titles so if you want to truly soak up all the game you'll need to cop the book for yourself...

Laws posted after the jump...

Of offense but if you can't read this in 30 seconds or less, then you should not be able to conceive children or own a car!

Twitter Trends Uncovered

My guess....twitter must just give people a voice who feel they want to heard; and meanwhile, the rich just keep getting richer so you tell me what that says. I looked up @kanyewest a couple of weeks ago on twitter and actually got inspired because I realized he has over 1.7 million followers yet he doesn't follow anyone himself....#myman

Courtesy of News One:
According to a new report from the Pew Internet & American LifeEight Project, of the eight percent of the U.S. online population that uses Twitter today, the most active users are African-Americans and Latinos.
While only 2% say they use it on a “typical day,” the demographics that make up Twitter users are interesting. Young adults aged 18-29 are “significantly more likely” to use Twitter, while African-American and Latino users are more than twice as likely to use it than whites, and urban residents are twice as more likely to use Twitter than rural residents. Sounds like a good cross section of the music.
As for how they use Twitter: 36% check for new messages on a daily basis or multiple times per day, while 41% say they check it less than every few weeks. The remaining users say they check Twitter a few days a week.

Something New: Ipad DJ App

The iPad’s 9.7 inch display offers one of the more unique user interfaces around for app designers. German software developers Algoriddim have taken full advantage of that functionality turning your iPad screen into a virtual turntable set. Complete with two decks, crossfader, individual channel mixers, volume controls, pitch blend sliders, and automix capability the Djay app from Algoriddim smoothly transitions the vinyl scratching sound of turntables into the virtual realm. For a set price of $20 anyone can enjoy the novelty of a disk jockey.
